During May to September 2010 the GAP was active both on and off the ice sheet. Investigations on the ice sheet involved: radar surveys, passive seismic investigations, maintenance of GPS- and AWS-network, hot water ice drilling, hydrogeochemical monitoring and geologic mapping.

During May to September 2009 the GAP was very active in the field in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. Investigations on the ice sheet were carried out in SPA and in SPC the main activities involved bedrock drilling.
